Happy Saturday, everyone! How are you doing so far this weekend? I slept in again😂 My sister works the night shift at the hospital and I have been staying up late for when she comes home (because I miss her so much while she is gone 🥺), but then I sleep in until 10am😴😂. I start working again on Monday so I need to right my sleeping schedule!
🦊SASSY Saturday is a monthly meme hosted by Virginia @TheSassyLibraryFox where we talk about our obsessions from the previous month. It is a great way to get to know other bloggers and it is such a fun post to do. Be sure to check out Virginia’s blog, too; it has great content and you won’t be sorry you checked it out! Here is the link to her Sassy post.
All you have to do is to follow those three golden rules:
1. Credit the creator of this tag (The Sassy Library Fox) and link back. (so I can see all your amazing answers!)
2. Answer the 5 questions below!
3. AND enjoy doing the blog meme!
S – Series you loved this month
I feel really badly because I keep bringing up Serpent and Dove and you guys are probably like 🙄 “again, you are bringing that series up” BUT hey. At least I am consistent! 😂 I also really loved Six of Crows (but I have yet to read the second book so I didn’t know if that would count)
A – Author you discovered
Leigh Bardugo, Danielle Steel
S – Song you couldn’t get enough of
S – Surprise – Something that totally caught you off guard
I get to this part every month and I draw a blank! My two best friends, my sister and I did a gift exchange for the first time this year. A little background, the first one of my two best friends and I have been friends for almost three years now and we never had time to get together due to school. But we have been hanging out more and all of that. She introduced my sister and I to another girl who is now also my (and my sister’s) best friend. So we did our first Christmas gift exchange and I was just so blown away by their gifts. But it wasn’t the gifts per se. It was the thought and the love behind each one. It really blew me away and touched my heart. I felt so loved!❤️
Y – Your fave blog post of another blogger
I really enjoyed the Blogmas series by Tree and Bree @WordsAboutWords. I couldn’t really pick a favorite because they were all good, but I have linked one of their Blogmas posts: Blogmas Day Three: Favorite Covers of 2020. If you are not familiar with Tree and Bree’s page, be sure to check out their blog. Their blog is super cute and I love that they are two best friends blogging together! How fun is that?! I always enjoy reading their posts; they have great content!
What are some of your answers to the SASSY questions? Let me know in the comments below!
I hope you all enjoyed this post!
