Happy Wednesday, all!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @TakingOnAWorldofWords. In this meme, we answer three questions all of which begin with the letter W! The three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading❓
Soooo I may have finished Vampire Academy yesterday 😂 Way ahead of when I thought I would finish it! For fun, I asked my sister to select my last read for January and she picked: Wicked by Jennifer Armentrout. So that is what I am reading! It is pretty good so far.

What did you recently finish reading
Since the last WWW Wednesday, I have finished:
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
The Emperor of Evening Stars by Laura Thalassa
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

What do you think you’ll read next❓
The Stand by Stephen King

What are you currently reading and what do you plan to read next? Let me know in the comments below! Feel free to link your WWW post too!😊

I hope you all have a wonderful, peaceful Wednesday!

      • haha, I might have to start pulling some of my older reads out and re-read them! I really liked the spin-off series too, Bloodlines! Oh, DON’T EVER WATCH THE MOVIE for VA!! It’s terrible. hahaha

      • Omgsh I think it is so funny how you said don’t watch the movie because …. I did and that is how I was like let me read the book because the book has gotta be wayyy better (and it was 😂). The movie, as usual, did not do the book justice!! But I still do enjoy watching characters come to life even if it isn’t completely accurate😂

      • Haha!! That’s awesome though! Glad it got you to read the book! I love seeing characters come to life on the screen, if it’s done well. I think that I had loved the series so much and then the movie desperately disappointed me. If I watch a movie first, I tend to not hate it as much. haha. It’s just SO hard to live up to the books, ya know? For example.. the two adaptations they have tried with The Mortal Instruments. I LOVE that series and they failed me on the movie and tv adaptation. haha.

      • Oh no I totally feel you! It’s so disappointing when you hold the books near and dear to your heart ans the adaptions just… totally fall short of everything 😂 yes the TMI series is definitely one of those disappointments😂 I was also somewhat disappointed with the beautiful creatures movie but some aspects of the movie were kinda cool I guess😂 after reading vampire academy I can definitely see where the movie was different and how it was disappointing!

      • Oh my gosh!! I was soooo excited for Beautiful Creatures and was completely let down! I totally forgot about that one! 😛 I just think I tried to delete that one from my mind. I actually really liked that series until the last book, I think. It’s been so long!

      • Yeah, it’s been years for me! I am always so worried about older re-reads bc I’m never sure I’ll like them at all now. My reading preferences have changes so much since they released!

      • Yeah, I will definitely say that I am a bit nervous to re-read older books that I once loved because of those reasons! I would like to think that I would still love the book but I guess you never know until you re-read it 😂

  1. I think I have Vampire Academy on my tbr. Did you read it for the first time? I know it was really big some years ago but I’ve only now got to it. 🙂
That’s a great amount of books you managed since the last WWW. Congrats!
