💫Monthly Wrap Up: February Edition + (Very Tentative) March TBR

Hello, my lovely friends!
Wow, the month of February is already over. Overall, I would say that it was a pretty good month. Of course, it was not all sunshine and daisies, but I would say that it was a pretty decent month. The best bookish part of this month, for me, was reading A Court of Silver Flames. It was definitely worth the wait, in my opinion! Non-reading related, I would say that the best part of this month was when my sister surprised me with flowers and my favorite chocolates💐🍫… and when my dad surprised my sister and me with a pizza delivery on Valentine’s Day🍕. We knew we were getting pizza, but what we did not know was that he also got us side salads, chicken wings, and a salted caramel apple pie/pizza-like dessert🥧. (Salted caramel anything is my favorite🤤) It really made my day… it made me feel so loved and I even got a bit (okay a lot) homesick!🥺 Looking back, how was your month? What was your most memorable moment of the month?

  1. I love this wrap up so much! Your dad’s pizza delivery is so sweet😊. And you read the entire ACOTAR series in one month?? I am so impressed with you. I only read half of TMI , and it almost killed me😂. Also, you watched Bridgerton? What did you think? I watched it the weekend it came out, lol. It was winter break, so. That wasn’t as crazy as it sounds 😂. I am also planning on reading Shadow and Bone the end of this month or next month, and I’m excited to see what you think of it! Hope your reading goes well this month 😊

    • It makes me so happy to hear you enjoyed my wrap up post! I am still working on them since I am pretty new to them. 🙂 Hahah I may be a biiiiiit obsessed with the ACOTAR series 😂 You did a great job with TMI! I had some unexpected down time in Feb so it gave me more time to read.

In terms of Bridgerton… I thought it was good but I, for some reason, just was not as crazy about it as some people – my twin sister for example was raving about it (she finished it in one day 😂). Maybe that’s why I didn’t like it as much! Jk. She re-watched it with me and watching the sex scenes made me a tadddd uncomfortable lolol. From a more objective point of view, though, I thought that it was pretty well done – even if I wasn’t crazy about it. My favorite character is Eloise – perhaps because I identify with her the most 😂 What did you think of the show?

I am excited to read Shadow and Bone. Call me crazy but I bought the book as soon as I saw that they will be coming out with the TV show covers. I was like, no matter how good that new cover will be… I will not have mismatching covers 😂

      • I think you’re doing a great job with them! I love all the stuff you include.
Lol, I thought it was pretty good, and definitely well done. I watched it with my mother, lol, so we skipped the sex scenes. It would have been way too uncomfortable to watch them😂
I am with you! They must match! Hope you enjoy it😊
