Hello bookworms!📚🐛
Happy TTT! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ThatArtsyReaderGirl. Each week, there is a new topic for which we make a list of 10 items. Click here for more information! Today’s topic is: Books with Adjectives in the Title. This topic was submitted by Nicole @HowToTrainABookDragon.

  1. The Darkest Star by Jennifer L Armentrout
  2. The Bone Houses by Emily Lloyd Jones
  3. White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L Armentrout
  4. Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa
  5. The Forbidden Game by LJ Smith
  6. Wicked by Jennifer L Armentrout
  7. Cursed by Jennifer L Armentrout
  8. This Woven Kingdom by Tahereh Mafi
  9. The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
  10. Beautiful Little Fools by Jillian Cantor

I included quite a few Jennifer Armentrout books to show my appreciation for her – not only because she is my favorite author but she has been getting a lot of hate for her recent release, The War of Two Queens. It is important to note that authors are people too and we have the privilege of reading their books, their art, their legacy. It is totally okay to express opinion, but it can be done so in a way that is not threatening or hateful.

Okay, I digress. 😬

Number 10 on my list is a book I just discovered (like, a few min ago) – it is a reimagining of The Great Gatsby. It sounds really good so I am definitely adding it to my TBR. For any Gatsby lovers, I’d recommend you check it out and decide for yourself if you think it might be something you are interested in!✨

  1. Great list, Maya! I’m kinda baffled by all the hate JLA is receiving for this book cos it’s not like she didn’t foreshadow this and what??? People are wild 😂 I can’t wait to read This Woven Kingdom and can’t believe I forgot it on my list this week!

    • I am a huge fan of JLA! I began reading her around 8-10 years ago. I stared with her Lux series, which I highly recommend. (Honestly, I recommend all of her books😂). FBAA is a great choice to start with, though. That series is amazing. I hope you get the chance to read her other books! Let me know how you like them :). Thanks for stopping by!
