Good morning, everyone!
I am so glad that it is the weekend. I decided to sleep in this morning and now I am just in bed, drinking green tea☕️ and writing this post. It is sooo nice to relax, especially after such a long week. I hope you all are getting a chance to relax this weekend, too! 😊
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Reading Reality and Tynga’s Reviews that recaps the books that we have recently gotten, whether it be physical copy or e-book, gifted or bought ourselves! Here is the link for the Stacking the Shelves official launch page.
🎁Gifted to Me:
A Strange Hymn Laura Thalassa
Dark Harmony by Laura Thalassa
(Thank you, Renata!❤️)
👩🏼🤝👩🏻Borrowed from a Friend:
The Stand by Stephen King
(Thank you, Mal!🥰)
📚Bought for Myself:
This Savage Song by VE Schwab
The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
I am excited to read The Knife of Never Letting Go because it is Sci-Fi and I have not read Sci-Fi for a longgg time! It will also be one of the books that meets my goal of reading more genres. 😊
What books did you stack this week? Let me know in the comments below! I love chatting with you all.
Catch up with you guys tomorrow for 🌞The Sunday Post (weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @CaffeinatedReviewer)! I hope you all have a restful, peaceful and lovely Saturday.🥰
Happy Saturday, everyone! How was your Christmas, if you celebrate? I love Christmas and, while this year was a little bit different due to the pandemic, it was still really enjoyable! Family time is the best time.
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Reading Reality and Tynga’s Reviews where we showcase any books we got as gifts, purchased ourselves, etc. For more information, click here. Because Christmas was yesterday, I figured I would tailor this post to the topic of books I got for Christmas! I am super excited to share with you guys the books I got. I don’t usually (actually, I don’t think I have ever) ask for books for Christmas, but this year I was asked to provide a list of books and, well. Who am I to decline that offer?! And let me tell you. It was so funny to open up a box full of books!
🎄Books I got for Christmas:
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab
Rhapsodic by Laura Thalassa
From Blood and Ash by Jennifer Armentrout
Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco
I was literally so excited that I got these books that I legitimately stared at them for a good few minutes each, every few minutes. 😂 I was so tempted to just start reading one of them but I am still reading A Darker Shade of Magic! After ADSoM, I am going to read The Right Time by Danielle Steel and then I will finally be able to read those books that I got for Christmas… which I have waited for so long to get!
What books did you get this week? Have you read any that I was gifted?! Let me know in the comments below. I love chatting with you all!
