WWW❓Wednesday: 5/11

Happy Wednesday, all! We are halfway through this week. Does anyone else feel like this week is flying by? It is likely just me. 😂

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @TakingOnAWorldOfWords in which we answer the three Ws:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading:
Dreamfever by Karen Marie Moning (Fever, #4) – 30% progress

I am really liking this series! I figured it would be just best if I just read the entire series straight through rather than breaking it up with other books in between. While sometimes I do not feel like reading a series straight through (mood reader prob #211), I definitely prefer it because the details, the nuances… they stay more fresh in my mind! Dreamfever is the second to last book in the Mackayla Lane part of the Fever series. The next part of the series revolves around another character, Dani. I am not currently sure if I will pick that series up right after finishing Mac’s story–we will see. Have you read the Fever series?

Recently finished:
Faefever by Karen Marie Moning (Fever, #3)

Reading next:
Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning
The War of Two Queens by Jennifer Armentrout

What are you currently reading? What will you read next? Let me know in the comments below!

WWW❓Wednesday: 4/27

Hello, hello my bookish friends!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @TakingOnAWorldOfWords, in which we answer the three Ws:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading
Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning
–65% progress. I am thinking I should be able to finish by the end of this week.

Recently Finished
The Traitor Queen by Danielle Jensen
–I really enjoyed this book! I was seriously wondering where the author was going to take the ending for Lara and Aren. Without being spoilery, I will just say that I was quite satisfied. Also, never thought I would say this but thank goodness for the 🦈 in Ithicana!

Reading Next
The War of Two Queens
–I believe I will be buddy reading this, but I am not quite sure exactly when in May we will be starting! I am excited though. I was supposed to re-read the FBAA and then ASITE, butttttt I definitely did not get the chance to do that so I hope my memory is good enough to remember everything for TWOTQ.

Other than TWOTQ, I am unsure what to read next. So I have included a poll because I am an indecisive mood reader. 😂 Please help me choose what I should read next by voting in the poll below!

What are you currently reading? What have you recently finished? Let me know in the comments! I love chatting with you all. 💛

🤩Can’t Wait Wednesday: 5/05/2021

Hello, everyone!

Happy Wednesday. We are halfway through the week already! I am changing up my typical Wednesday post to a Can’t Wait/Waiting on Wednesday post. This meme is hosted by Tressa @WishfulEndings. In this post, we discuss books that we are excited to read that have yet to be released to stores!

Book: The Love Hypothesis
Expected Publishing Date: September 14, 2021
Author: Ali Hazelwood

The Love Hypothesis

When a fake relationship between scientists meets the irresistible force of attraction, it throws one woman’s carefully calculated theories on love into chaos.

As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn’t believe in lasting romantic relationships–but her best friend does, and that’s what got her into this situation. Convincing Anh that Olive is dating and well on her way to a happily ever after was always going to take more than hand-wavy Jedi mind tricks: Scientists require proof. So, like any self-respecting biologist, Olive panics and kisses the first man she sees.

That man is none other than Adam Carlsen, a young hotshot professor–and well-known ass. Which is why Olive is positively floored when Stanford’s reigning lab tyrant agrees to keep her charade a secret and be her fake boyfriend. But when a big science conference goes haywire, putting Olive’s career on the Bunsen burner, Adam surprises her again with his unyielding support and even more unyielding…six-pack abs.

Suddenly their little experiment feels dangerously close to combustion. And Olive discovers that the only thing more complicated than a hypothesis on love is putting her own heart under the microscope.

Fake relationship? 🤩 Scientists?! 🤩 I am dying to read this! Also , I am in love with the science puns in the synopsis. 😍 What book(s) are you excited to read that have yet to hit the stores? Let me know in the comments below! Feel free to link your CWW/WoW post in the comments, too!

I hope you all have a fantastic Wednesday. 🥰

Can’t Wait Wednesday: Blessed Monsters ❤️🖤

Happy Wednesday, everyone!
I know lately I haven’t been posting on Wednesdays, but I thought I would post today and I thought I would participate in CWW because it has been a while since I last participated! CWW is a weekly meme hosted by Tressa @Wishful Endings where we talk about books that we are excited to read. Typically, these are books that have yet to be released. You can find more information about CWW here.

The book I can’t wait for is…

Blessed Monsters by Emily A Duncan
Series: Something Dark and Holy #3 (Final Installment)
Publication Date: April 6 2021

I am really excited for Blessed Monsters to be released. Each book has left me wondering where the story will lead to next! Usually, as the reader, you feel you have some sort of idea what could happen next, but with this series, I cannot predict any potential sequences of events. I think that is one of the main reasons why I like this series so much – its unpredictability!

Have you read any of the Wicked Saints books? What book(s) can’t you wait for? Let me know in the comments below! I love chatting with you all. 🥰

💬Waiting on Wednesday💬

Happy Wednesday, everyone! 🌻☀️
How is your week going so far? I finally got my car back. It wasn’t anything mechanical, thankfully; it ended up being bad gasoline in the tank.🤷🏽‍♀️ Must’ve gotten the end of the batch!

Anyway! Today is Waiting on Wednesday. I have not participated in WoW for a little while so I thought I would get back into it! 🙂 WoW is a weekly meme originally created by Jill @ Breaking the Spine and is now hosted by Tressa @Wishful Endings along with their “Can’t Wait Wednesday.”

I am highly anticipating A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas. I am absolutely in love with the ACOTAR series and I am really happy that there is yet another book in the series. ACOSF is set to be released on February 16, 2021!

I know there was quite a bit of… controversy amongst ACOTAR readers because of this cover. I myself was a bit peeved that it does not follow the same cover design as the original books. I am one of those bookworms that does not like when covers are re-done when I already have 1 or more of the books in the original cover design. However, that is not to say I dislike their new covers!
–If you are a ACOTAR fan, what are your thoughts on the ACOSF cover?

–What book(s) are you waiting on? If you participated in WoW or CWW, link your post down below so I can check it out! 🧡
